Um.

About half an hour ago, my cable went out. I’m not sure how long the internet will last, either.

Thankfully my husband left this afternoon on a camping trip with the kids. Because I’m fairly sure their safer than I am.

See, my dog. It got bit. By my neighbor. Who was walking really slowly and was kind of missing an arm. Now the dog is howling and snarling at my window. And he looks really really mean. And sort of dead. Then the news reports got really strange–dead rising from their graves, people going berserk and killing each other. And the eating brains thing?! Ew.

I narrowly missed getting attacked by the mailman.

So I’ve barricaded myself in, locked the dog out. Well, you know, after he broke a window, got in and almost bit me. I’m thinking that isn’t a good thing. I’m pretty sure he didn’t break the skin.

Really, the important thing is that the electricity is still on. I don’t know what will happen when the summer heat invades my space. Or, if the zombies do.
