Thirteen things I found in my van this morning

1. Goldfish (the crackers, not the actual animal). Lots of goldfish and crumbs of goldfish-that-were.
2. Plastic pirate booty
3. A towel (never leave home without one!)
4. Buddha
5. About thirty wipes someone small had thrown about the vehicle.
6. Three pencils
7. A clipboard
8. Mail
9. Two bags of trash
10. Something really gross in a cupholder
11. A bunch of my brother’s paperwork
12. A yellow cup
13. A dolphin and a starfish

What a great idea for TT! I’m sure most of those things are in my van right now!

  2. Paige Tyler

    Cute!

    *hugs*

    My TT is at http://paigetylertheauthor.blogspot.com/

  3. Gina Ardito

Being a mom, I get every one of them–except Buddha. ‘Splain, please!

Gina–I almost wrote “some find Jesus, I find Buddha” but I figured it might be a bit tasteless LOL. I have a little Buddha figurine in the car, for peace and luck while driving because I drive 2 hours a day and let me tell you, it is not pretty out there :) He had gone missing and I found him rolling about happily.

  5. Open Grove Claudia

Unbelievable! Good thing you cleaned it all out!

Wow, two hours a day driving, blah. Audio books are the only way I cope when I have to drive a lot.

Thanks for visiting, and yeah add me if you’d like. It was nice talking with ya. Feel free to pop by my author site to and say hi. :)

  7. On-the-Job Mom

That almost sounds like my purse!

  8. Susan Helene Gottfried

I banned food in my car for just this reason, and if the kids leave papers in it, the papers get thrown out if they’re still there when I’ve asked twice for them to be taken away.

I’m NOT nice when it comes to my car. It’s my baby!

  9. Christine d'Abo

There was so much junk in my van, when we got rid of it and bought a car, we didn’t have room for everything. Great list!

  10. Morgan St. John

Ew, yeah, somethings in my van are indistinguishable… *wince* drives DH crazy!

  11. Xakara

Buddha, I don’t drive, but if I had a car Buddha and Yemaya would most definitely be found in it!

Along with an ankh and Gaia firgurine hanging from my rearview mirror. :)

Congrats on making it through the clean-out.

Always glad to find another writer.

    Happy TT,

    ~X

  12. Jennifer McKenzie

Somehow, we always find a ton of McDonald’s and Burger King toys. Why don’t they ever make it out of the car?

  13. Kris Yankee

Lord…I’m afraid to look in my van. I usually get in it, drive, get out, drive and come home. I rarely look in the back seat for fear of seeing something growing! Two boys and a dog make for a very dirty car!

  14. Mathew James Didier

Hee hee hee! I’m afraid on my next clean-up I’ll find new lifeforms and a geo-thermo nuclear device!

  15. Jennifer Shirk

I find goldfish constantly, too! They should just make the inside of cars orange. LOL!

  16. Kissa Starling

    Interesting…just so interesting.
    Kissa :)

  17. Debbie Mumford

*LOL* I wouldn’t dare post this list!

  18. Robin L. Rotham

Holy cow (no offense, Buddha!) — are you sure you weren’t cleaning out my Suburban? :D

  19. Elle Fredrix

LOL. There are always so many clues about when you’re a mom!

  20. Heather

Interesting what things you find when you clean out the car, eh? Fun list!
