Thirteen not-so-guilty pleasures

Life is too short to feel guilty for having fun!

1. Justin Timberlake (I blame Megan, but who doesn’t love a lyric like “you see these shackles baby I’m your slave/I’ll let you whip me if I misbehave??????”)

2. Video games while I exercise. Dude, the time just flies by, and I get to hack and slash the whole time.

3. Blog hopping.

4. Kitty in the lap.

5. Buffy (okay, so I really mean Spike here, but whatever).

6. A haircut at a niceish place rather than Supercuts or whatever (they bring me hot tea!!)

7. Ordering pizza instead of cooking (sniff! Used to be, anyhow).

8. Soaking in the hot tub.

9. Cross stitch

10. Cuddling in bed with the hubby whilst children create chaos in the house.

11. A good, creamy lotion on the feet.

12. Blackberry Wisdom Tea with honey.

13. Reading a book all day.

Get the Thursday Thirteen code here!

The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. Visiting fellow Thirteeners is encouraged! If you participate, leave the link to your Thirteen in others comments. It’s easy, and fun! Be sure to update your Thirteen with links that are left for you, as well! I will link to everyone who participates and leaves a link to their 13 things. Trackbacks, pings, comment links accepted!

You’re freaky, but I like it!

Amen to the pizza!!!! I spend WAY too much time blog hopping.
And I would love to spend ALL day reading.

You mean we’re supposed to feel guilty about doing those types of things! you’re right… life’s WAY too short.

Thanks for sharing a great list!

    My TT is at http://impulsivehearts.wordpress.com.

  4. Rhonda

This TT made me laugh — I really like the “read a book all day” one…does anybody do that?

  5. Lorelei James

    #13 definitely…

  6. Heather

I miss #4, but not quite ready for a new kitty yet. Have to agree with you on numbers 9, 11 and 13, too. Definitely don’t feel guilty about indulging there! ;)

  7. Tempest Knight

I’m with you on the pizza delivery and reading a book all day. *wg*

  8. Gina Ardito

Hmmm…I might have to try video games while working out. Reading a book and listening to music just don’t cut it anymore. Thanks for the tip!

  9. Comedy Plus

I see you don’t like tea. Have a great TT. :)

  10. Savannah Chase

who doesn’t love the JT line..it’s just hot

    Nice list by the way

  11. Robin L. Rotham

Oh yes — haircut at the niceish place! I did that today. It’s so nice to be pampered just a bit once in a while.

  12. Mathew James Didier

There are not TRUE guilty pleasures… just pleasures…

…well, unless your pleasure is criminal… then I suppose it could be guilty.

    Foot-lotioning… yah, baby!

  13. Elle Fredrix

Hmm. I do several of those on a regular basis and never feel guilty! :o) Good for us!

The blackberry wisdom tea sounds wonderful along with a book and a quilt on a cold day. Great TT. Happy Thursday!

  15. Xakara

Ooo, The Body Shop’s peppermint foot butter, and all their body butters to be truthful, great guilty pleasure. *grin*

As far as Justin Timberlake, I agree, how can you not love a line like that? LOL

Thanks for coming by and for reminding me to add a few more guilty pleasures to my day. :)

Great list. I wish I had the time to read a book a day. Sigh.
