I have a tentative title: Maya’s Web (it isn’t my favorite, but I think I want to stick with the “name in the name” convention I started with Waking Kiara)

I have characters:
This is Maya, aka Michaela Conlin (she plays Angela on the Davidfest…I mean TV show Bones):

Isn’t she gorgeous? Love the open, wide smile. Maya and Angela have some similarities, some differences both in appearance and character, but this is a good base to jump from. Maya is a weaver, not a forensic artist, btw.

This is *insert awesome name here*, aka Omar Sharif (sans the ’stache, I think, and definitely sans the cliche outfit):

He’s this rich mysterious man from Egypt. (No, this is NOT the secret baby Sheikh evil twin plot, damn it. He just happens to be Egyptian. Which reminds me–anyone out there have any info on being Egyptian?) Do you think he looks a little like Cary Elwes in this pic? Just thinking.

Incidentally, he does have a brother, who may be evil, but they are NOT TWINS. Just on principle, really.

This is shaping up to be as fun as the last novel I wrote in the Guardian universe! Yay!
