I’m glad I’m not the only one who thieves as homage. This season, we’ve had a reference to the hellmouth (nice) and this gem in the season finale:
“He’s fallen for one of the classic blunders. Never go in with an Australian when death is on the line.”
Writers of Eureka, I salute your awesome yet sly fanishness! And I no longer question why I still love this goofy show.
There should be a word for that. I dunno, something like fandump, or fanrob or fanboy play…or something. Goddess knows I do it all the time 
I bet vivid_cognition could come up with something.
Unrelated fanliness–if you like some Jack Skellington, Firefox has a nifty theme featuring Jack and Mr. Oogy Boogy man. Neato.

I had an editor tell me that one of her test for any new client was if they could quote The Princess Bride or not. If they could she knew working with them would be fun
