Zelda!
Did I mention I’m really loving the new Zelda, Phantom Hourglass? It is so much fun, but more than that I’m really impressed at how the programmers took the DS system into account when programming. You really use all aspects of the handheld–even the microphone, upper screen and at one point even the hinge comes into play. I find the whole thing very clever. When the new one comes out for the Wii I will cry bitter, Wii-less tears.
The awesomeness of Zelda reminds me to use all my tools when I write, even the semicolon. I have the habit of falling into a pattern of phrases, so I want to be sure and focus on descriptions and sensory experiences. And de-stilted dialogue. I’ve been doing a little writing here and there, little hundred word sprints in the car waiting for my kids and such. I might even have the start of that tarot story, thank Muse. I am also adding bits to Kiara which is nice, that one is starting to come together in a more coherent way. I’m very excited to get started on this year’s Nanovel, but I have a bad feeling about opening weekend since I’m really busy with other stuff that weekend as well. Figures. So I’m counting on the midnight kickoff to really get me boosted in word count. Ah, coffee and pie and coffee, here I come.
OH, and we finished Buffy last night. SNIFF. I’m sad it is over, I have rarely enjoyed a show that much. Plus the sad parts at the end. Sniff! Guess I have to move on to Angel and the Buffy comic
Now I’m off to clean house and try to get things all set so that when NaNo comes, I won’t be leaving all the chores to the hubby. Just most

There’s that hinge again! At least this time I’ll be ready… there was a hinge puzzle in Trace Memory (you had to angle the DS so that the image on one screen would reflect onto the other and create the whole picture) that sent me crying to GameFaqs. Definitely a creative way to make a puzzle though… DSs are so much fun.

That is so cool! I’ll have to borrow it from you post-nano.
