Mildly unwell

mildly-unwell

Apart from being the state of my brain, that is also my health status at this time. Not really sick enough to get away with laying about, but definitely not well. Same as the kids, only fast forward three days and add soreness from several needle sticks (normal bloodwork on a hard stick person is interesting. The bruise on my hand isn’t nearly as impressive as it should be, imho).

Also, I’ve lost my friend’s birthday present in the house…somewhere. Meh. I wonder if, in child-free houses, things stay where you put them.

I did kick gingerbread’s ass yesterday, though, and I think I buffed out my upper arms in the process because gingerbread (for a house) is very, very hard to roll out. Like, very. I think it will turn out neat, though. I even made a little gingerbread baby (and not ONLY because I accidentally cut a leg off. That was just a bonus). On the other hand, let’s just say I’m glad you don’t really eat gingerbread houses, because I think there might be cat hair in some of it.

Tin Man is cool, but I hear the ending sucked. SciFi needs to hire writers who can write endings. I’m down, hire me! I can write endings. I do tend to rush them a little, but at least they MAKE SENSE. Seriously, call me. After the strike, of course.
