Free ebooks

Tor is giving away free ebooks–the second one was Scalzi’s Old Man’s War which I can’t recommend enough if you ever loved readable scifi. But anyway, his post today on how he suspects a FREE BOOK impacted his sales is very interesting, and also confirms a lot of my personal suspicions about the way books and media are marketed *now* vs. how they could be marketed.

I need a cheap digital camera that takes decent pics so I can post, well, pics. I’d like to take pics of my paninis and crochet projects, and some outfits for fatshionista and my darling husband totally hogs our one camera. HOGS! Any recommendations?
