I finally figured out the digital camera, so I have a couple crochet projects to show off…more to come but these are a couple of the most recent things. Thank you to my model, freakishly large Elmo.
So I made the scarf and hat combo here. The scarf is 11 granny squares stitched somewhat amateurishly together. I wore it over my hair at the local ren faire and it was quite nice, didn’t come unraveled like I feared so that is good.
Here’s a close up of the hat–the way I finished the bottom gave it a kicky kind of ripple that looks really cute on, though I didn’t plan it that way.
There you go, be gentle if you have commentary but I’m down for any advice you have to share!

Very nice! And purple! How wonderful. Elmo looks very cool.
I had signed up to take a crochet class last year but the class got canceled. I still have the wool (is it called wool?) and needles. I should try taking another class.

Eh, if you enjoy it. I find the process therapeutic and peaceful. I figure if it was too stressful to do, I wouldn’t bother!
