Spring Flowers Purse
Hey, I can post one of my surprise projects, which was a birthday present I call “spring flowers clutch purse.”

That’s the front.

And the back, which came out pretty well, I thought.
I kind of fudged a version of the Envelope Purse in the klutz crochet book for this one, because I wanted a wider base to start with so the recipient could actually put things in it. Crazy talk, I know. It is weird to make gifts for people, I’m finding, because you kind of have to hope they like it, and it isn’t like they can return it if they don’t. The husband said it will just have to be a re-gift, which seems a good second best option.

That’s adorable! I love the flowers, especially! And it looks like you did a great job altering the pattern - it doesn’t look wonky (like things often do when I’ve fudged with patterns).

Hmm, that looks familiar.
I liked it. It was cute and original and it had flowers!

Thanks ladies–lol about wonky, Wendy, because I had to frog it several times to make it look how I wanted, kwim?
Glad you like it, Himani
