And now for something much more depressing…

Get your colon screened, people.

If you get one, and they find something, and it is cancer, the earlier they find it the better your chances are. When they find early stage cancer in the colon or rectum, the survival rate is somewhere around 95%. When they find it after that, it drops to insanely low levels.

If there is a history of cancer in your family, they suggest you start doing this as early as 20-30 years old.

This is a disease that is FIXABLE, as long as you get your butt screened (ahaha, see what I did there). So go do it. If you’re 50 or over, call right now. If not, consider your family history and risk levels, and don’t fucking “forget” it when you get older.

This isn’t random for me, this is serious. You do not have to die from this disease. Fucking hell.
