Yarn PrOn

My man is out of town and I’m sad. I’m totally spoiled when he’s here and when he’s gone it is like my better half flew away with the dishwasher and the fun sex. Suck. And possibly TMI, hee hee.

So here are some recent yarny projects to pass my time, and now yours by proxy:

my first lace
My first lace project, done entirely during the Olympics for the Ravelympics. It nearly killed me, and it is slightly wrong, but it is done and blocked and somewhat beautiful, I think. Not sure what to wear it with yet…

Numbers are Bad
The finished Dharma Corporation purse. I get a few comments when I’m out and about on it, none from people who recognize it from the show. Sad. But the purse is very comfortable to carry and huge enough for all my junk.

I have knit many, many sections of scarves. Here is one of my faves:
retro
I like the retro seventies goodness I have going on here. Not all turned out as satisfactorily as this one, but it is a fun project nonetheless.

What they say is really true. I knit/crochet so that I do not kill people. Never more true than in the last six weeks.

Oh, the shawl turned out gorgeous! I’m really impressed that you made it in such a short period of time. The purse turned out great, too! YAY! And speaking of scarf sections, tonight I will be putting the finishing touches on the section I knit on your scarf. I wanted to do something special - and it is a bit special, although not quite as special as I’d originally intended. But bwah! I’m not going to say anything else right now. You’ll just have to wait and see when it arrives (unless someone posts a spoiler photo before it gets to you).

And LOL about knitting/crocheting to avoid killing people. I hadn’t thought about it that way . . . but yeah, the concept works for me, too. :D
